TARA UPDATE - April 2021!

A memory recently popped up on our Facebook from March 2015, and we couldn’t help but smile! It was of our amazing girl Tara from her WCIU You & Me This Morning TV debut! The segment was about showcasing our Court Case Dogs looking for loving homes through our awesome rescue partners. We thought Tara and her amazing bunny ears would be the perfect candidate to show off these dogs who “have done the time, but not the crime.” Tara mesmerized everyone on the set with her charisma and charm (just check out the photos and you will see)! After seeing this memory we just knew we had to get an update from Tara’s mom.

Tara’s mom Kelley fostered and then adopted Tara through our rescue partner Dont Bully My Breed, Inc. She reports that these days Tara goes by “Uptown Tara” and that she absolutely lives for road trips, camping and hiking. In fact, the only thing she doesn’t enjoy about camping is coming home. They have been to a total of 34 states (so far) and definitely plan on visiting more! “Tara's been such an ambassador for bully breeds! People fall in love with her everywhere we go. She always knows just what to do to put people at ease - children, people who are scared of dogs... her empathy never ceases to amaze me!”

Wow! We are proud of you, Tara, and thank you for being a positive representative not only for Court Case Dogs, but also for other dogs who look like you!
