Norman has a big sister named Sweets, who mothers him like he was her own baby.

Meet Norman, aka Mr. Pants. Norman is a 2nd generation Safe Humane dog. His parents were confiscated for neglect and were brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control. His mother turned out to be very pregnant at the time of her arrival. Pittie Please Rescue rescued Norman's mom, Booty, and shortly thereafter gave birth to Norman. Norman was diagnosed with severe pulmonic stenosis of the heart after he lost consciousness at about 15 weeks old. He has since received a life-saving operation and will be on beta blockers his entire life. It does slow him down a bit, but he knows his limits. Although he has a congenital heart issue, it makes his heart that much bigger. He loves everyone he meets; 2 legged and 4 legged. Norman has a big sister named Sweets, whom mothers him like he was her own baby. He takes up most of a king bed and leaves little room for mom and sister. He enjoys going to daycare twice a week and has a little crush on a pug named Samson. The crush is mutual. He is delighted to be a part of the Safe Humane Dog Ambassador program and is excited to meet you.
