Erin knows her Mom really loves her cuz she tells her every night when they go to bed.

Hi, I’m Erin! I was an owner surrender to CACC about 10 years ago (my previous owners said I didn’t get along with other dogs). A rescue took me out of CACC and this lady who loves black dogs (my Mom!) fell in love with me and took me home to foster. I knew once I went to her home that I’d never leave! Here I am almost 10 years later and I live with my brother Snoopy and I’ve played Foster Mom to almost 30 puppies! My Mom says I’m such a good Mommy to the puppies. Snoopy and I are both pittie mixes, but I have some Shepherd and Husky in me too. Mom says that’s why at almost 12 years old, I’m still so active. My ears are always up and I love the cold weather. I love the sun too and Mom laughs at me when she sees me sunning myself and rolling around the grass on my back. My most favorite things to do are play fetch, tug and bark at my ball launcher. I’ve learned when I bark at it balls come flying out and I get to go chase them down. I love to show off my “side” command. Mom’s so proud of me! Mom calls me Ms. Independent because I don’t follow her around the house like my brother Snoopy. I do get to sleep in bed with her…under the covers with a soft pillow for my head. I think my Mom is losing her memory though; she sometimes calls me Bubba Doo or Wiggle Butt. I answer to those too. Whatever, Mom! I know my Mom really loves me cuz she tells me every night when we go to bed. She says I’m her “rock”.
