Max

Max’s nickname is “TAAKI.”

Max arrived at South Suburban Humane shelter at three months young. He was rescued from one of those southern state hurricanes and our initial meeting with Max was through another. Lucky us! What we love most about Max: His adorable face, personality and friendliness to all. Mostly his generosity and warmth he shares with humans. Challenges, if any, were early on during his training days. Max wanted to jump up on people as most pups do. Occasionally Max will practice dominance over another dog. Playing with frisbees, balls of all sorts and squeaky toys. Especially chewy items. Chasing squirrels up a tree. Max enjoys most all dog food, especially duck & veggies. Really likes healthy doggie biscuits and carrots. Best trick: Catching a ball or frisbee in mid air and tug-a-war! Which are all favorites. Favorite place to sleep: Sofa. When home alone: Sleeps! Nickname is "TAAKI" Quirks: He'll prance while chasing a toy to retrieve. He'll stand up while placing his paws on kitchen counter to watch us food prep.
