Addi is a 9 year old yellow lab mix.

Do you have any canine housemates?

Yes, 2 younger dog siblings.

How did you join your family? 

My mother decided 9 years ago it was time to get a dog and here I am now.

Do you have any “jobs”? Tell us about them and what you like most about them. 

I have a lot of jobs.  My main job is keeping my sisters and my nieces in line.  My mother also fosters a number of dogs so I take on the mother role for these foster dogs.  Some of the dogs she has fostered have been very fearful, and I show them there is nothing to be afraid of.

What is your favorite hobby?

My favorite hobby is playing ball, swimming, and looking for sticks.

Do you do any tricks? What is your favorite?

My favorite trick is making people smile.  I am a very happy dog and I think people see that in me.

What is your favorite toy?

My favorite toy is my tennis ball.

What is your favorite treat?

I have a number of favorite treats, as I am part lab, but my all time favorite is Snook’s organic sweet potato chips.

What do you like to do when your parents aren't home?

I lie on the couch, and make sure my sisters stay out of trouble.

Is there anything you would like to tell us about your work with Safe Humane Chicago or anything else?

There are a number of aspects I love about Safe Humane.  One is working with kids, I love kids!!  I also enjoy hanging out with my niece, who was a Court Case dog that my aunt adopted.
